Bodysafe
Write down 4 things you learnt while we had the Bodysafe people come in and teach us.
4 Steps to consent:
Ask- Ask properly not like ' Wanna watch Netflix and Chill ?' Make what you say clear.
Listen- Listen to their response. If it's 'umm.. yeah I guess so' that answer is not a proper answer. A proper answer would be an Enthusiastic YES! like...'YES, SURE!!!'
Respect- Respect their answer if their answer is NO! Then it is a definite NO!
Reflect- Reflect on their answer. Look at their body language too. If you think they feel uncomfortable then don't do it.
What is an Enthusiastic yes?
An Enthusiastic yes is a definite yes. An Enthusiastic yes isn't a normal yes it's a yes that is like over excited and totally happy.
What is Consent?
Consent is an agreement.
Where two or more people have to agree to do something. Or else they can't.
Bystanders: Passive and Active bystanders.
Passive Bystanders are people who just stand and watch. They don't take a step.
Active Bystanders are people who take a step when they see someone doing something wrong.
Write a description about BodySafe
We had four lessons of BodySafe... we had Tawanda, Marcellin, Taullulah, Laura , Pearl and Ishaan.
I zoned out in the first lesson cause I wasn't comfortable , but i got kinda comfortable in talking about all the stuff we talked about in the Second, Third and Fourth lesson.
Overall Bodysafe staff that came to our class were amazing.. they explained everything very clearly.
Thanks to BodySafe for coming in and Thanks to Miss Samu for organising it.

Reflection on Osmosis
Reflection on Osmosis
I learnt that Osmosis is in every plant.
I learnt that Water molecules move from areas of high water concentration to areas of low water concentration through a selectivity permeable membrane.

Science - Safety Rules
HI there.
I'm Inaya.
Today I will be talking/telling you about Safety Rules in a Science Lab.
Safety Rules in a Science Lab are:
1. Wear safety goggles- Why? Because it will protect your eye. When you are using chemicals.

2. No running in the lab- Why? Because you might trip on something, and you will bump into someone else and they would drop it somewhere or do the wrong step and it could cause a big disaster.

3. No eating in the lab- Why? Because it will make a mess, and I'm sure nobody likes working in a mess, with food crumbs.

4. Bags under the desk- Why? So nobody trips on your bag when they are holding the chemicals.
5. Tie hair up- Why? So your hair doesn't go in the chemical and get burnt or get's weird.

6. No running around with dangerous chemicals- Why? So nobody gets hurt, gets burn with chemicals, etc.
7. Follow all instructions- Why? Because it is important and so you don't do anything wrong.
